What Is the Process for Morpheus8 Treatment?
Consultation:
The consultation starts with you and your goals. You can sit down for a personal meeting with Dr. Brent and let it all out. What do you want to address? Are there things you want to improve? Do you have any questions? This time is entirely focused on learning about you and how we can best bring out the results you want to see. Dr. Brent takes the time to build a personalized treatment plan with each patient. Once your plan is set, you can schedule a day for your treatment and lock in a planned treatment regimen. Most patients will plan for between 2 and 5 treatments.
Preparation:
Getting ready for your Morpheus8 treatment is much simpler than for surgery. The main steps involve avoiding skin irritation (e.g., excess sun exposure, waxing skin) and alcoholic beverages. These can both interfere with the treatment.
Treatment Day:
On your scheduled day, you can come into the office and immediately feel the welcome of our staff. From a comfortable waiting area to modern treatment facilities, our goal is a high-end, positive experience at each step. We start by applying a topical numbing cream to reduce any discomfort. Then Dr. Brent uses the device to move through treating each target area.
Recovery:
The body’s healing process from Morpheus8 is actually part of how the treatment is effective. The punctures stay open for about 6 to 12 hours, and keeping the treatment area protected is essential. Avoid any environmental irritants like excess sun, chemicals, or abrasive skin products. Some minor swelling and redness around the treated areas are within normal side effects. However, this fades within about 1 to 2 days in most cases.
Seeing Your Results
When Can I See Them?
As the punctures close and your cells respond to the RF energy, you can expect to begin seeing multiple skin improvements. In most cases, these will begin to be visible about a week after treatment and then continue to improve in the coming weeks.
How Many Treatments?
However, each patient’s treatment regimen can differ, depending on the results they want to see. For milder concerns, patients may need a total of 2 to 3 treatment sessions to reach their final results.
