What is Forma?

Forma is the first auto-adjusting, non-invasive, thermal skin treatment for deep and uniform tissue stimulation. Forma uses radio-frequency power that flows uniformly between the electrodes to provide a comfortable thermal experience with immediate and subsequent contraction. Patients will feel a little bit of heat coming from the wand, but nothing hot enough to burn the skin or cause any pain. In fact, many patients consider Forma to be quite relaxing. There is no pain or recovery time after Forma either.
How Long Does Forma Take?
Since Forma is a non-surgical skin tightening procedure, the appointment will only take about 30 minutes for the average body part. If you decide to do Forma treatments on multiple body parts, each additional body part will take an additional 30 minutes since treatment is performed with a single wand. There is no preparation or recovery period for non-surgical skin tightening treatment.
How Often Does Forma Need to be Performed?
Forma is often performed for multiple treatments for best results. Patients usually need at least five sessions to start seeing any changes in the skin. The waiting period between Forma treatments is minimal since there is no downtime. We usually ask patients to schedule treatments at least 2-3 days apart minimum to be safe.

How Long do Results Last?
Forma is not a permanent fix, but rather a maintenance program. You will notice improvement after each session until you reach maximum results. Once you reach maximum improvement, results can be maintained with subsequent non-surgical skin tightening treatments scheduled less often or further apart. The maintenance aspect of Forma is individual, and you and your provider will be able to determine how often you need to undergo additional non-surgical skin tightening treatments to maintain final results. As you continue to age, you will of course require continuous non-surgical skin tightening treatments to maintain as much of your skin’s tightness and elasticity as the technology will allow for.
What Areas of the Body can be Treated with Forma?
Forma is suitable for almost any area of the body. It can improve elasticity of the face or neck, or it can be used to contour the body. Essentially, Forma can be used on any area with skin that the patient desires to be tighter or have improved elasticity on.
What do I Need to do to Prepare for Forma Treatment?
Forma is mild, safe, and suitable for all skin types; therefore, no preparation is required. It is always recommended that you use sun protection and hydrate well since well hydrated skin heals more quickly and has a better and more fresh appearance.
How Much Does Forma Cost?
The price of Forma is largely individual and depends on the size of the area to be treated and the number of sessions needed to achieve the desired outcome. What is the Recovery from Non-Surgical Skin Tightening Like?
There is zero downtime after a non-surgical skin tightening treatment. In some cases, the skin might appear slightly red, but any redness should subside within a couple of hours. Forma is called a “lunch-time treatment” because you can resume normal activities immediately after and apply any skin care products or make-up as desired.
What Should I Expect at My Appointment?

You will have photographs taken (for office use only unless consent is given for additional mediums) so that skin tightness can be compared over multiple sessions to assess effectiveness of treatment. Your treatment will take approximately 30 minutes and then you will be on your way with zero down time required.
When will I See a Results?
You should expect to see small changes in your skin’s tightness after each session. Forma works gradually and incrementally, so you will need multiple treatments and should not expect any drastic or dramatic changes after just one session. Until you achieve maximum results, Forma will continue to tighten your skin and improve its elasticity with each session.
